Hiring Locations:

  • Denver
  • Chicago
  • Wisconsin
  • Not in one of these cities?  Pitch us anyway.  We can be swayed.

You should:

  • write clearly and concisely;
  • communicate in your own fun, creative and entertaining voice;
  • take photos in focus;
  • be a self-starter;
  • meet deadlines;
  • communicate openly and honestly; and
  • have some experience with social media.

Responsibilities:

  • Produce at least one well-written 400-500 word blog post per month;
  • Write blog posts that are informative, entertaining and get people talking and sharing on social networks;
  • Develop your own creative ideas;
  • Take photos in focus of the entire subject matter, or legally acquire images to be used in blog posts;
  • Familiarity with Wordpress is a plus.

Payment:

The pay is terrible, but I promise it will be the most interesting line on your resume.  And it will probably cover at least a couple cocktails.  Or at the very least, 5 PBRs on happy hour.

The Drunken Tomato does not reimburse for "research" costs (i.e. brunch/bloody mary/clothing/etc. costs).  But as bloggers, there are often ways to get these comped.

  • Your favorite brunch spot
